Upon our afternoon arrival in Johannesburg, proceed through tourist entry formalities. Our transfer will whisk us away to the Protea Hotel Johannesburg Parktonian All-Suite Hotel

DAY 3: WEDNESDAY - December 29, 2021 | JOHANNESBURG
GoGIRLS! Welcome Breakfast

After breakfast, we get to know South Africa’s biggest city on a full-day tour that covers all the highlights of Johannesburg and Soweto.
Take in the views from the Top of Africa, learn about the city’s history as we visit Constitutional Hill and the Apartheid Museum, then follow in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela in Soweto, with a tour of the Nelson Mandela House, Hector Pieterson Museum, and Freedom Square.

DAY 4: THURSDAY - December 30, 2021 | PILANESBERG
Optional Tour to Pilanesberg Game Reserve on a full-day safari from Johannesburg...
On our tour you will enjoy two extensive game drives/safaris conducted by an experienced tour guide.
​
​We will enjoy lunch at one of the many rest camps in the Game Reserve. After lunch, we will depart on another 2.5-hour afternoon safari drive in an open vehicle.
Between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM we will depart Pilanesberg and return to Protea Hotel Johannesburg Parktonian All-Suite Hotel.

DAY 5: FRIDAY - December 31, 2021 | CAPE TOWN
After breakfast, our driver will pick us up to take us to the airport for our flight to Cape Town.

Upon arrival in Cape Town our driver transfers us to the Protea Hotel Breakwater Lodge Waterfront.
In the evening enjoy the short walk from our hotel to the hottest New Year's Eve party in South Africa ...the V&A Waterfront New Year's Eve Celebration and Champagne Cruise and 3 Course Dinner

DAY 7: SUNDAY - January 2, 2022 | CAPE TOWN
The day begins when our driver picks us up for our tour of highlights of captivating Cape Town including the District Six Museum.
​
The District Six Museum was founded to honor those who were forcibly removed from their homes in the mid-1960s. The South African government began relocating some 60,000 nonwhite residents to a slum-like township miles away and destroyed their homes in order to make the neighborhood whites-only.

DAY 7: TUESDAY - January 4, 2022 | CAPE TOWN
Our day is spent exploring the iconic Table Mountain and the famous Robben Island prison famed for hosting Nelson Mandela.
​
Take the five-minute cable car trip to the top of Table Mountain, 1 089 metres above Cape Town, and explore the summit. Pick a spot and soak up the commanding 360-degree views of Cape Town and Table Bay.
​
The ferry transports us to Robben Island where we will experience a guided tour curated by an ex-political prisoner. We will visit the Maximum Security Prison that held Nelson Mandela and take the Long March to Freedom in the historical footsteps of former president Nelson Mandela.
Evening...
Tonight we say farewell to South Africa and our new found friends with dinner at GOLD restaurant.
​
Let the rhythm of the drums draw you in with a djembe drumming experience that really sets the mood for the evening.
​
The dinner experience begins – African cuisine is fused with an entertaining evening of African story telling through music at GOLD Restaurant to deliver an African experience you won’t soon forget.

30 days after the intended date of departure from
South Africa is required.

COVID-19 NOTIFICATIONS

Entering South Africa:
Negative COVID-19 Test Required: Any travelers to South Africa will need to present a negative COVID-19 test not older than 72 hours from the time of departure, or will be required to remain in mandatory quarantine at their own cost if they have not done a COVID-19 test.
​
All travelers will be screened on arrival and those presenting with symptoms will be required to remain in quarantine until a repeat COVID-19 test is conducted.
​
All travelers will be asked to install the COVID Alert South Africa mobile app.
Entering the United States
All airline passengers to the United States ages two years and older must provide a negative COVID-19 viral test taken within three calendar days of travel. Alternatively, travelers to the U.S. may provide documentation from a licensed health care provider of having recovered from COVID-19 in the 90 days preceding travel.

If cancelled before 9/27/21 your fee will be $500.00
If cancelled between 9/28/21 and 10/16/21 your fee would be $1,000.00
If cancelled between 10/17/21 and 11/16/21 your fee would be $2,270.00
If cancelled after 11/17/21 all monies paid are non-refundable.

Q. If I cannot go on the trip, can I get my deposit back?

A. Insurance is not included however, we do provide options to you on your Confirmation-Receipt once your reservation is confirmed.
